Biography

Dr. Gabriel holds a Bachelor of Science (honors degree), and a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alexandria, Egypt, and a Ph.D. degree from the University of Manitoba, Canada. He holds a diploma in Space Science from the International Space University (Strasburg, France), and an M.B.A. from the Edwards School of Business.

Dr. Gabriel was heavily involved in the research efforts spearheaded by NASA to design, test and operate a thermal management system for the International Space Station (ISS). Since 2005, his research efforts focused on the development of low-carbon technologies including energy conservation in buildings, green hydrogen production for sustainable transportation, marine and aviation transport systems.
